The St. Louis Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP-STL) will honor Maxine Clark and Bob Fox with its Spirit of Philanthropy Award during a luncheon Nov. 10. AFP-STL’s 36th Annual National Philanthropy Day Luncheon and Celebration will be held at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel-Chesterfield. Other honorees include Marsha and Bill Rusnack, Rich Ledbetter, Maritz, Italian Open Charity for Children, Linda Haley and Katy Robertson. Gene Dobbs Bradford, President and CEO of Jazz St. Louis, will serve as master of ceremonies.

Build-A-Bear founder Maxine Clark has spearheaded and helped fund a new endeavor for St. Louis parents. It’s a free app called Blueprint4SummerSTL, which provides mobile access to summer camps and events in the St. Louis area so parents can more easily plan summer activities for their kids.
