Higher Education

Colleges and Universities not only create pathways to career preparation and success for students, but also serve as incubators of research, innovation, and catalyzers of change. The Foundation supports institutions of higher education in addition to specific programs and initiatives at local Universities such as the Clark-Fox Policy Institute, and the Gephardt Institute for Civic and Community Engagement.

The Foundation supports organizations in a variety of ways—from financial assistance to mentoring, strategic guidance, technical assistance, etc. the Foundation works with like-minded organizations for the good of the region.

  • Brown School of Social Work

    The Brown School’s history at Washington University dates back to 1909, when the University became the home of the St. Louis School of Social Economy. From 1909-1910, the school occupied space in the Olivia Building at 1023 N. Grand Avenue

  • Gephardt Institute

    The Gephardt Institute for Civic and Community Engagement cultivates informed and actively engaged citizens.
