The resources listed for the STL Region comprise entities that are based in St. Louis City or St. Louis County. While these resources are more easily accessed by individuals in the region (i.e. housing, in-person workshops, etc.), most entities do not specify service area limitations. The resources outside of the STL Region include entities that are based in other Missouri counties or in other U.S. states. Those based in other parts of Missouri mostly serve residents of those areas. Those based in other states may serve state residents only, or may serve other states. Most of the national resources are accessible to anyone living in the U.S. and include information-based and virtual resources, search engines, directories, information on local chapters, and more.
