New App Gives Parents Ideas for Summer Camps

Build-A-Bear founder Maxine Clark developed a mobile app designed to give parents in St. Louis an easy look at summer activities for their children. Blueprint4SummerSTL connects all St. Louis-area kids to summer learning opportunities. Parents and children get free access to information on thousands of summer programs and camps that are close to home and within their budget.

Blueprint4Summer STL has more than 6,000 opportunities for kids between the ages of 3 to 18. You can search the website for camps near your home or a specific category or if the camp offers scholarships or after care. Just go to www.blueprint4summer.com. That’s also where you’ll find 60 camps on SLU’s campus which is part of their Summer at SLU program.
